By car, from all directions: Follow the M180 onto the A180 to Grimsby. At 1st roundabout go straight on (s/p Docks, Cleethorpes A180). From here, follow signs to Cleethorpes A180 onto the Grimsby Road and to the ground, a distance of 2.7 miles. The ground is behind the McDonalds restaurant.

By Rail: If it's a big game with a lot of travelling fans the trains will stop at New Clee station, otherwise they stop at Cleethorpes station.
If it's a nice day you can walk from either station along the seafront to the ground, there is a footbridge over the line just by the ground. If you don't fancy the seafront or the weather is bad then use the map to get onto the Grimsby Road and follow the crowds. The ground is directly behind the McDonalds restaurant on Grimsby Road.

By Bus: Nos. 3F, 9X and 45 run along Grimsby Road.

Trouble Factor: Surprisingly for a seaside town Grimsby does have a hooligan element. Though safe in the ground it is advised not to wear colours in and around the town and avoid pubs close to the ground. Definitely don't leave anything in your car which gives a clue to your allegience.

Fans comments:

Car Parking: It's street parking only, but there is a lot of it. Don't display colours or insignia in your car if you are hoping to drive home in it.

Pubs: Close to the ground pubs should be avoided. However, try: The Leaking Boot on Grimsby Road or the Number 1 or Number 2 bars at the station.

Food: In the ground it's generally good.
Outside there's the McDonalds, gets very busy, but worth buying a program first as they often have vouchers in for money off.
The best in my view though is Hobson's fish and chip shop on Grimsby Road, the fresh fish is excellent.
Loads of other takeaways and restaurants as you'd expect in a seaside town.
