Turn left onto North Circular, and keep in right hand lanes for the A1 (Falloden Way) as it branches off to the right. At junction/lights after 1.8 miles follow London A1 signs - head towards the Esso garage and get in left-hand lanes, straight on into Archway Road. At roundabout after 1.4 miles (Archway Corner), take 2nd exit (s/p The City A1, Nags Head, Highbury Corner). After 1.4 miles, pass under railway bridge and pass University of North London on left hand side, and after further 0.2 miles turn left at 2nd lights (n/s, just past Delight Supermarket/London Furnishers on left hand side) into Drayton Park. From West (M4): The stretch of the North Circular Road between the M4 (Chiswick Roundabout) and the A1 turn-off is now mostly dual carriageway, and an excellent way of skirting round central London. Pass over the M25. After 8.4 miles exit M4 (s/p M1 The North, A406 North Circular Road). Follow North Circular signs onto North Circular dual carriageway. Keep on North Circular Road (A406), turning right (3rd exit) at the Hanger Lane Giratory after 2.8 miles. Continue for 6.2 miles, then get in right hand lanes for A1 (s/p City A1). At next roundabout after 0.3 miles turn left (n/s) into Victoria Park Road. At lights at T-junction after 0.6 miles, turn right (opposite Elbe Footwear, s/p Hackney, Clapton) onto A107 Mare Street. After 0.9 miles turn left, just after Hackney Empire (s/p Clapton, Dalston) into Graham Road. Straight on for 2.1 miles to Highbury Corner roundabout. Take 4th exit (s/p The North A1 M1, Aylesbury) into A1 Holloway Road. Pass Shell Station after 0.4 miles and take next right turn at lights into Drayton Park. Then as From North (M1).
By rail: The stadium is served by two tube stations these are: Arsenal (Piccadilly Line): This station is right by the ground.
Finsbury Park (Victoria Line/BR):This station is about 0.5 miles from the ground. There are three exits from this station. The best is the one opening into Station Place - i.e. opposite Muldoons and by the Arsenal World of Sport. Walk alongside the Arsenal World of Sport, cross the road into St Thomas's Road. Where road divides, bear right, keeping on St Thomas's Road to ground.
By bus: The best routes to the ground are: No. 29 from Trafalgar Square to Southgate, via the Seven Sisters Road. No. 210 from Brent Cross Shopping Centre through Highgate to Finsbury Park Tube Station. No. W2 from Enfield to Finsbury Park Tube Station. No. W3 from Northumberland Park via Alexandra Palace to Finsbury Park Tube Station.
Trouble Factor: Generally Highbury is a safe and friendly ground to visit. There are exceptions, but trouble seems to be limited to the visits of local rivals, particularly Spurs.
