By car: From North: Exit M6 at junction 6 (Spaghetti Junction, s/p A38(M) Birmingham E & Cen, A38 Birmingham (NE), Lichfield). Where road divides keep right (s/p Birmingham E & Cen) onto the Aston Expressway. Take 1st exit, after 0.5 miles (s/p Aston Waterlinks, Birchfield, Perry Bar). From this point think about parking. For the ground: at roundabout take 2nd exit (s/p Birchfield, Lozells). Take first right into Sutton Street (s/p Matchday Parking), straight over crossroads, and right at T-junction into Witton Road. Right at roundabout by Aston Hotel to ground. From East: Exit M6 at junction 6 (Spaghetti Junction, s/p A38(M), Birmingham Cen, A38 Birmingham NE). Where road divides bear left (s/p A38(M) Birmingham Cen) onto the Aston Expressway. Then as From North. From South West (M5): At end of M5, where road divides, take left fork (s/p London M1 and M40, Birmingham N and E), onto the M6 eastbound. Exit M6 at junction 6. Then as From North. From South/East (M1-M45): This is not the quickest route, but goes via The Clock pub and eateries. Exit M1 at junction 17 (s/p Coventry South M45). The M45 becomes the A45 - follow signs for Birmingham A45 through Coventry suburbs, passing The Clock on left hand side after 18.7 miles. Straight on for 5.1 miles, following City Centre A45 signs and passing McDonalds and Harry Ramsdens on left hand side. At roundabout just after Texas Homecare, take 2nd exit (s/p City Centre A45) onto the Small Heath Highway. Follow City Centre A45 signs over two roundabouts and under two railway bridges to Bordesley Circus Roundabout. Take 3rd exit (s/p Ring Road, The North and M6), and follow Ring Road signs for 1.6 miles over two roundabouts to the Dartmouth Circus roundabout. Take 3rd exit (s/p Aston Waterlinks). Straight over roundabout by clock tower, left at the next (s/p The North, London M6), and 1st exit at the next (s/p Birchfield, Lozells). Then as From North.
By rail: From railway Station (Witton): A two minute walk. Down pathway to main road, turn left, past Witton Arms to roundabout. Turn left into Witton Lane to away end.
By bus: The no. 7 runs from the city centre, while the no. 11 goes from Selly Oak to Acocks Green, passing by the ground. The 440 from Brandall runs through Bearwood, Handsworth, past the ground and on to Perry Barr (doesn't run during the evening, however).
Trouble Factor: A very friendly ground to visit unless you are a Birmingham fan.

Car Parking: Not easy, and if you are arriving a little late it can be an absolute nightmare - get there in plenty of time. Most side-streets are residents' parking, and if you do find a space, youngsters are likely to appear from nowhere offering to 'mind your car' for a fee. There are alternatives: on Saturdays, park at Bescot Station near Walsall's ground and take the train to Witton - a ten minute journey. The clubs never play at home on the same day, and Bescot station is two minutes' drive from junction 9 of the M6 - for directions, see under Walsall. In Aston, try: i) At the roundabout off the A38, instead of turning right to the ground, turn left and take the first left turn into Victoria Road. There's lots of street parking there. ii) At the A38 roundabout, follow signs to the matchday parking, which is in a school playground. There are garages, warehouses, pubs and the like, offering secure parking for a fee.
