By car:
The majority of away fans are going to be approaching Brighton from the North.
The ground is very easy to find and is approx. two miles from the town centre and just off the A23 London Road.
However, the big problem for all fans on matchdays is that there is no parking within a mile of the ground. A restriction agreed to to enable Brighton to play at the Withdean.
There is, however, a park and ride scheme approx. one mile north of the stadium at Mill Road.
To get to Mill Road, head for the junction of the A23 London Road and the A27. From here take the A23 toward Brighton (or stay on it if coming from London or the north). Turn right at the service station into Mill Road.
In previous seasons your match ticket also included a park and ride ticket. We don't know if the scheme will be repeated for the 2002/03 season or not.
By rail:
The nearest railway station is Preston Park, approx. a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. This station is served by direct trains to and from London Victoria (every 30mins, journey time I hr), with several departures to choose from after an evening game.
Brighton's main station (a 5min ride from Preston Park) also has direct services along the south coast to Portsmouth and Southampton.
From Preston Park station, head straight down Clermont Road, then left at the T-junction with the A23 London Road. Turn left again into Tongdean Lane, go straight under the railway bridge, and the ground is at the junction with Eldred Avenue ahead.

The Preston Brewery Tap, on the A23 at 197 Preston Road, serves good food, has a beer garden and welcomes families.
